The Nigeria Men National Team continues to showcase their dominance with today’s win over Mali 76-56 in the final match of the FIBA AfroBasket 2021 Qualifiers. Nigeria went 6-0 during the Qualifiers by an average winning margin of seventeen points per game. Nigeria will be the favorites heading into the FIBA AfroBasket 2021 Championship taking place later this year in Kigali, Rwanda.
Former NFL star Adewale Ogunleye joins the I Am Athlete crew to discuss financial literacy and what players should do with their money in the latest episode. I thought this was a great conversation amongst these former players that can apply to everyone not just athletes. Kamaru Usman is still the CHAMP. Put some RESPECT on his name. Usman defeated Gilbert Burns in the third round of UFC 258 on Saturday night with a TKO to retain the UFC Welterweight Championship. After taking a big blow in the first round, Usman dominated the rest match leading to the knockout. Usman is currently on a 13 match winning streak which ties for the second longest win streak in UFC history.
