Throwback Thursday: Olajuwon Dominates in NBA FINALS

With the 2018 NBA Finals between the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers started tonight, I wanted to take a trip back to memory lane. In 1994 & 1995, Hakeem Olajuwon led the Houston Rockets to back to back NBA Championships. The one thing NBA fans never got to see was Olajuwon’s Rockets take on Michael Jordan’s Chicago Bulls. Regardless, Olajuwon put on a show during these Finals. Check it out here:

Giannis & Oladipo Make All NBA Teams

On Thursday, the NBA announced the All-NBA teams. Giannis Antekounmpo (Milwaukee Bucks) made the All-NBA Second Team & Victor Oladipo (Indiana Pacers) made the All-NBA Third Team. Also, Oladipo made the NBA All-Defensive First Team. Great season by both guys as they lead their respective teams to the NBA playoffs. Expect to see their names on the All NBA Teams for years to come. Finally, we expect Oladipo will get one more award before the season ends (perhaps Most Improved Player).

Giannis Signature Shoe Coming Soon?

After resigning with the sportswear giant Nike in November 2017, there was a lot of speculation on whether Giannis Antetokounmpo would get a signature shoe. Nike already has signature lines with top NBA players: LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and Paul George. The versatility of Giannis’ game and the international presence he already has makes him the ideal guy to have a signature shoe. Well we may finally have an update to all of the speculation:

The Greek Freaks 1s!! We’ll keep you updated when we hear more information on a release date and when we get a preview of what early samples of the shoe looks like.

Minutes after getting eliminated in the 1st round of the Eastern Conference playoffs, Victor Oladipo is already thinking about next season. Oladipo had a break out season in his first year with the Indiana Pacers and he showed what the greatness that he is capable of in going up against Lebron James and the Cleveland Cavalier.
