As of part of Under Armour new campaign The Only Way Is Through, current WBO, IBF, & WBA Heavyweight Champion Anthony Joshua shares his story of overcoming. We learn a lot about ourselves during failures. It was great to see that Joshua was comfortable enough to talk about one of the lowest moments in his professional boxing career. However, like any champion, the lost only made him stronger and he was able to triumph in the rematch to get back his championship title belts.

Joshua KOs Povetkin to Remain Undefeated

In front of approximately 80,000 fans in Wembley Stadium, Anthony Joshua defeated Alexander Povetkin in the 7th round with a KO to remain the Unified World Heavyweight Champion. Joshua had a slow start to this match taking numerous of hits including one jab to the face that caused Joshua’s nose to bleed. However, the resilient Joshua began to take control of the fight in Round 3, which led to the KO and victory in Round 7. With this victory, Joshua improves to a record of 22-0 (21 KOs).

The question everyone is asking (ONCE AGAIN) is whether we will get the Wilder fight next. After the match, Joshua admitted that we want to fight to Wilder for his next match on April 13th, 2019. I’m not going to get my hopes up like last time, but I sure hope we do get this fight next year.

Joshua Fight

The IBF, WBA, & WBO heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua (21-0, 20 KOs) is scheduled to fight Alexander Povetkin (34-1, 24 KOs)  on September 22nd at Wembley Stadium in London. This will be Joshua’s seventh world title defense and Joshua is the favorite to win again

Even though I am excited to see Joshua fight, this is not the fight that I wanted to see. I think the majority of the boxing world wanted to see the much anticipated fight between Joshua and Deontay Wilder. There were rumblings in the past month that the fight was going happen this year, but negotiations between the camps failed. However, there is hope that we may finally get this Joshua vs Wilder fight in 2019. You gotta give the people what they want! Let’s make this happen fellas.

Joshua Is Still The Champ

Anthony Joshua defeated Joseph Parker in front of a large crowd in Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales. The fight went the distance, but Joshua won by unanimous decision from the three judges. Not only did Joshua display his ability to fight into the late rounds, but also Joshua proved that he could win without his knockout punch. Joshua is now 21-0 with 20 KOs and remains the heavyweight champion of the world. The question everyone wants to know now is who will be Joshua next opponent. I want to see Anthony Joshua vs. Deontay Wilder next. The fans deserve this fight. Let’s make it happen!
