As you may know, Dr. Seun Adigun is the only Olympian from the continent of Africa that participated in both the Summer and Winter Olympics. She represented Nigeria in the 2012 Summer Olympics competing in the 100M Hurdles and was part of the historic Nigerian Women Bobsled team at the 2018 Winter Olympics. As Seun continues to promote participation amongst Nigerian athletes in winter sports, Seun is embarking on a new project. Seun started a philanthropic initiative called Dr. Seun Cares that helps those in need and raise awareness to important global issues.
One of the initiatives is the Dr. Seun Cares: COVID-19 Relief program. The goal is to help families in Nigeria dealing with difficulties due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Seun and her partners have been by providing food and support to families through the help of donations. They are hoping to feed 100 families from 10 different states which will cover 6 geopolitical zones in Nigeria.
