This past week the New York Liberty selected Michaela Onyenwere as the 6^th pick in the 2021 WNBA Draft. After a great career at UCLA, the six feet forward looks to continue to showcase her skillset on the next level. Michaela joins the growing list of Nigerian women in the WNBA including Nneka & Chiney Ogwumike, Arike Ogunbowale, and Kristine Anigwe amongst others.
