This TNT documentary highlights how Giannis Antetokounmpo was discovered leading up to the 2013 NBA Draft.
Giannis Puts On A Show During the All Star Game
All of the stars were on the court last night in Charlotte during the 2019 NBA All Star game. No star shined more than MVP front-runner Giannis Antetokounmpo. Despite the lost to Team Lebron, Giannis had a game high 38 points with 11 rebounds and 5 assist.

“Tough times don’t last tough people do” – Victor Oladipo
I feel like I’m always shouting out Oladipo during my Motivational Mondays segment. However, after the news of his season ending injury, I felt like it was only right to highlight his response today. Check out Oladipo’s full IG response below:

As I stated before, I definitely expect a full recovery by Oladipo because “tough times don’t last tough people do”.
Giannis Named Captain for NBA All Star Game

Via @NBAAllStar Twitter
Giannis Antetokounmpo will make his third NBA All Star appearance on February 17th in Charlotte (second straight year as a starter). Giannis was the top-vote getter in the Eastern Conference and as a result was named the captain of the Eastern Conference squad. Giannis and fellow captain LeBron James will choose their teammates during a televised draft on Thursday February 7th at 7PM EST on TNT.
Oladipo Out For the Season

On Wednesday night versus the Toronto Raptors, Victor Oladipo suffered a gruesome knee injury. The MRI today confirmed that Oladipo has a ruptured quad tendon in his right knee. This will require surgery and Oladipo will be out for the season.
This is devastating news not only to the Indiana Pacers, but the entire NBA as a whole. Oladipo is one of the bright young stars in the league. You can tell that his fellow NBA peers respects him just by all of the get-well tweets after the injury occurred. Oladipo was averaging 18.8 PPG and career highs in both rebounds (5.6) and assist (5.2) this season. After coming off a thrilling seven game series vs. LeBron and the Cavaliers in last year’s playoff, we were all excited to see what Oladipo was going to do in this year’s playoffs. The coaches will most likely vote Oladipo as a reserve for the upcoming NBA All Star game in Charlotte.
This is just a minor setback for a major comeback for Victor. We’ll see you back on the court dominating soon. Prayers up!
